Payment Terms
When Payment is Due
Payment is due within 24 hours of scheduling.
Booking a same-day or next-day appointment? Payment is required immediately to lock in your time slot. If we don't receive payment by the deadline, your appointment may be released to another patient.
What Happens If You Don't Pay in Time
If payment isn't received by the deadline:
- • Your reserved slot may be given to another patient
- • You'll need to book a new appointment through USRad
- • No penalty — you simply start fresh
Pay USRad, Not the Imaging Center
Your payment goes to USRad — never to the imaging center directly. We've already settled both the facility fee and the radiologist fee through our network agreement, so there's nothing left for you to pay.
Heads up: If anyone asks you for additional payment related to your prepaid exam — don't pay it. Contact us immediately and we'll sort it out.

How to Cancel or Reschedule
Need to cancel or reschedule? It takes less than a minute in your USRad Patient Portal — available 24/7 with instant confirmation.
When you cancel through the portal, everything happens automatically:
- Your refund is triggered instantly (when eligible)
- The imaging center is notified in real-time
- You receive confirmation on screen and via email
Can't access your portal? Email support@usrad.com and we'll take care of it.
Important: Don't call the imaging center to cancel — they can't modify USRad appointments. If you cancel with them instead of us, your refund won't process.
Our 24-Hour Cancellation Policy
We keep it simple. Here's what you'll receive if you need to cancel:

Why 24 hours? When you cancel last-minute, the imaging center loses that slot — and another patient misses out on affordable care.
Missed Appointments
If you don't show up and don't cancel:
- • It's treated the same as a late cancellation
- • You'll receive a 75% refund (25% no-show fee applies)
Life happens. If you missed due to an emergency or something outside your control — reach out. We review special circumstances with compassion.

Every USRad appointment comes with a simple promise: if your exam doesn't happen, you don't pay. Whether the center cancels, equipment fails, or the study can't be completed for any reason outside your control — you'll receive a full refund, no questions asked.
What You'll Receive
When you cancel a paid appointment:
- → 24+ hours before → 100% refund
- → Less than 24 hours before → 75% refund
- → Refunds processed within 5–10 business days
When Refunds Don't Apply
Once your exam is complete, your payment is final. Refunds are not available for completed studies.
If Something Goes Wrong on Their End
If the imaging center can't complete your exam due to equipment issues, staffing problems, or scheduling conflicts on their end — you're fully protected.
You'll receive either:
- A full refund, or
- A rescheduled appointment at no extra cost
USRad absorbs the risk — not you.
